From March to July of 2005, I co-ran a pub quiz with Dan from Tin Ear at Becak in Kobe. Many thanks to the following people:
Simon: He not only let us unleash some bizarre trivia onto unsuspecting masses, but provided great drink prizes to the winners and a wonderful setting for the quiz.
The Recontracting Attendees: During the 2006 Kobe Conference for Recontracting JETs, we set a huge new record for attendance – ten teams in fierce competition! Being able to hold an event like that was, Dan and I have agreed, one of the high points of the quizmastering experience.
All our regulars: Those of you who came once or every time, your presence and support was what kept us going time after time, as did the jibes you threw either at us or each other. And the very, uh, graphic pictures you drew on your answer sheets.

Have you got any news on the return of the quiz? Secondly, what type of “bizarre trivia” do you unleash onto the masses? I run a pub quiz website where I list the best quizzes around (given by recommendations) and also have many questions and answers that would stump even the brainiest of quiz teams so I am always on the lookout for bizarre trivia, as you put it!
